Maple Grove and Osseo’s Representative, Dennis Smith
Dennis proudly represents the residents of Maple Grove and Osseo in the Minnesota House of Representatives, District 34B. First elected in 2014, Dennis serves on the Commerce, Job Growth and Energy, and Capital Investment Committees. Currently, he is the Vice-Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee.
Dennis was born and raised in White Bear Lake and went on to graduate from North Dakota State University with a Degree in Business, along with earning a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
Dennis is a 22-year resident of Maple Grove who owns a small business and practices law in the community. He passionately serves in several community organizations, including the Maple Grove Rotary and is currently serving on the board of directors of the Osseo/Maple Grove Hockey Association as Past President. Dennis and his wife Sandra have been married for over 20 years and are parents to two teenage children, Lillian and Buchanan, and their Golden Retriever Reagan.
