Maple Grove and Osseo’s State Representative, Dennis Smith
Dennis proudly represents the residents of Maple Grove and Osseo in the Minnesota House of Representatives, District 34B. First elected in 2014, Dennis serves as the Vice-Chair of the Civil Law and Data Practices Committee, Commerce and Regulatory Reform, Education Finance, and Rules and Adminstration Committees.
Dennis was born and raised in White Bear Lake and went on to graduate from North Dakota State University with a Degree in Business, along with earning a JD from William Mitchell College of Law.
Dennis is a 22-year resident of Maple Grove who owns a small business and practices law in the community. He passionately serves in several community organizations, including the Maple Grove Rotary and is a past board of directors member of the Osseo/Maple Grove Hockey Association as Past President.
